3 things you definately would want to keep in your invent if everything else had to go into the trash ...
well ... as usual I don't do it the right way ... I cheat ... *grins*
I simply say that ...
my shape, which I made right at the beginning of my Second Life ...
my skin which was created by Garbage Prototype (at least the properties tell me so) and which I got right at the beginning in the freebie shop on Help Island ...
with my tattoos added to it ( I made them to give me strenght in my darkest SL hours), Japanese signs for Love (can't live without) ... Dragon (it's power) ... Music (how sad would the world be without) ...
my hair, which was one of the first things I built in SL (with the help of Natalia's blog)...
those three are so much part of me, they are out of the game ... *grins*

ok ... what's then left which I would never delete ... ?
My invent isn't that big actually ... it's badly organized and contains mostly textures, scripts, the things I have created, and tons of notecards I was yet too lazy to delete ... all in all about 8.000 items ...
I've heard of folks having invents the size of over 20.000 up to 100.000 and more items ...
OMG ... I'd die in there ... lol

soooo ... my choices are :
-->>> my BOOTS I bought from 'the Drawmachine' at Sanctuary Rock ... I wish I had them in RL ... so comfy, not overdone with shiny stuff, simply amazing ... I wear them almost night and day ... *snigger*

-->>> my BASS, I built after my RL bass ... took me ages of time and lots of prims ... and it's far from perfect ... anyway ... I love it ;-))) ...
erm ... though I must admit I could hardly delete the bass I got from my french LoonAtic once ... a 1965 Fender Jazz Bass (Sunburst) which look comes close to my rl 1979 Fender Precision (sunburst)

-->>> my PIERCINGS ... I got them from my fav Hoochie Imdy ... it's called *~* HoOcHiE *~* Full Facial Piercing ... Septum, Triple Lip, Labret, Multi nose/brow ... funny name somehow ... but I'd feel nekkid without it ... ;-p
erm ... I might run into trouble on some sims tho if I got nothing else left in my invent ... *smiles innocently*

ok ... and to end this three things stuff I'd like you to listen to a band that will never be deleted from my invent ...

... after a kind of bass marathon ... trying to get songs into my head and fingers for one-gig-stands with 2 projects ...
But the fun is worth it ...
more rehearsals coming up next weekend ...
and I'm really looking forward to scaring folks into the farest corners of Circus Maximus with a rather thrash punk band (very loud) and a kinda retro band (loud too) ... *grins*
So due to being quite busy in RL I didn't spend as much time in SL as I would like to ...
but when I had a chance ... it was FUN ...
I got Drake back as my reg Friday midnight DJ (me jumps like a kiddie on xmas about that) ...
Erika still ROCKs my (and everyone's) sunday morning ...
and today I had the pleasure of DJ Flux staying for my midnight event, when Alex didn't show ...
OMG ... I so love when Flux does his funny voices and accents ;-P

A few days ago was one of the few occasions when my french LoonAtic hopped in and we visited a place I had seen in the Girl Wonder Speaks-Blog, the 109 Prim Circus ... quite nice and very glowing ... *grins* ...
The best was the cardbox-tablechairs/coffee-etc-Set ...
I ordered coffee with heaps of sugar and milk, while Boon had a hot chocolate ... too bad that I spilled it all on my forehead ...

I finally got me 3 new dances for my chim ... erm ... actually 1 dance and 2 x loonantic behavior ... lol ... I like it tho ...
sooooo, spank my butt next time you meet me inworld ;-P

Some changes in my SL seem to come up ... as I'm not sure how official they are I don't say much , except that they make me curious as well as a bit sad ...
But I guess I gotta wait what the new year will bring anyway ...
Hopefully some time to finish some of the stuff I had started a while ago (including SL xmas-cards and presents for friends, lol ... spank me, I just ran out of time)

and later took the chance (ty Dylon) to visit Imdy at demonic ... cool ;-)) ... tho I couldn't stay long due to RL ...
I should visit other clubs more often ... *grins*

... we were having a nice evening with the family, meeting friends and having some 'Glühwein' and punsch ...
I tried to find the xmas spirit somewhere between all those lights of the xmas market ... good smells of sweets, cakes, Bratwurst, fries ... decorated windows ... carts with all kinda stuff to buy ...
but somehow I just don't seem to get into the mood yet ...

mmmmhhhhh ... I love when I had a fun weekend ... and it's not even over ;-))))
though it started a bit melancholic for me ... my fault ... I shouldn't suggest an event theme like Candle Light Rock ... and then feel a bit lonely when I see couples there slowdancing ... lol
anyway ... it was fun ... hehe ... didn't think that Hell would play romantic songs almost all the time ... ;-P

For my Friday midnight event it was great to have Drake covering the open DJ spot (big TY) ...
and with an all time favourite like PORNSTAR-Party ... it was a blast ... 19 voters !!!
and lots of funny talk ... ;-))
I just wish I could get a regular DJ for the midnight again ... so I won't have to ask in staff chat 20 min before the event ...

a rather short night before my Saturday 10pm ... thanx to Maxx ... lol ...
he had invited me to some cam chat ... and as I haven't used a cam and headset for ages ... he had to be quite patient with a stupido like me ... *grins*
but it was so much fun ... (phew ... good that I don't have to pay charges for using that word so often) ... and great to see the real person behind an avatar ;-)))
And that reminds me that I got to send a very big TY and hug to Maxx ... for giving me the chance to keep a last LoonAtic Wear Store ... The C.O.R. is just the place to be ... great staff and friendly atmosphere ... check it out ;-)))

So I thought I would be a bit tired at the 10pm ... and with the Pyjama-Party (and still wearing a pyji in RL) just the right theme ... but Erika kept everyone rocking again ... and a fun crowd ... time was passing so fast that I almost missed official Perv time ... lol

Today I spend hours searching an important paper for my tax stuff ...
how I hate this tax thingie ... even more now as the tax guys will dig quite deep into my already pretty empty pocket ...
Anyway ... good thing is ... while searching I found an old folder with photos of concerts I've been to ... real paper photos ... taken with my old SLR camera on film ;-))

and to top such a day ... important files are missing on the pc ... which makes you miss the bloody bus ... you get home 1 1/2 hours later ... totally wet from rain ... wonder why even your feet are so wet that you make 'wet' noises when walking ... just to discover that there's a pretty big hole in your shoe ... you freeze and shiver ... and all you wanna do is go to bed ...

But then you find an e-mail from a very kind person in your outlook ... that makes you feel better ...

I removed my mainstore, my belongings, my home ... from Volkov ...
and buried it deep into my invent ...

giving up my home/mainstore and the shop at Sanct was inevitable ...
but for hosting a bit of a break should do as well ... I'd miss it too much on the long run ...

One thing I'll definately miss is Drake dj-ing my Friday midnights/ Saturday mornings ... it was his last time today ... he's too busy now with managing ... and it always meant quite a late night for him ...
So I gotta visit some of his other shifts to hear that smexy voice again ...

My very own 3rd Life ...

There are those days when RL and/or SL just suck ...
I had them again over the last weeks ...
and I often wished to leave... to where-ever
... a 3rd life would come in handy ... ;-P
and guess what ...
I got one ...
I just realised that ... and I got it almost since I got a 1st Life (does it make that the real 2nd Life then?) ...
I got the client always with me ... no need to make an account ... no passwords ... no TOS or rules ... no sliders, radars, lists, tags, nc, spam, griefers ... it works unplugged and without the web ... lol

It's those precious moments when thoughts start to wander without control ...
the creative blinks ... time of ideas and hopes ... somewhere between wake and sleep ... duty and spare time ... sense and nonsense ...
sometimes seconds ... minutes ... even hours ...

Too bad that the interface to my other lifes is quite poorly developed ...
maybe I should start bug-fixing this interface ...
like beginning with this pic ... scribbled when my bad mood made me go into my 3rd Life for some relief ... and waiting to be turned into a better drawing ...
a chance to find my way back to my RL-drawing skills ... long neglected ...

but I'm tired of complaining too ...

I'm not leaving SL ... I'm still at the C.O.R. ... at least for a while ...

and I'll find a way back to enjoying it ... sooner or later ...

Bad and Good?

If I had written this post in the morning after my SR-shift as I had intended ...
it would have been a 'bad'/'good'-list ... weighing way more heavy on the 'bad' side ...
but I didn't ... due to a really bad mood caused by my damn ear-infection and the sad feeling, when I realised that I can pay next week's rent for either my mainstore or the Sanct shop only ...
Hard decision still to be made within the next 3 days ...
But after some boring housework and an afternoon spent talking to my french LoonAtic (mostly about something completly different from my SL-stuff)

I'm glad that my DJ HellBone was patient with me and Maxxius offered me to get a cover for me ... big thanx here to Noa for jumping in and to the other nice staff at the C.O.R. ;-)

Today didn't start well either ... when hubby's alarm accidently went off at 6.00 ... on the only morning of the week were I can sleep till almost 8.00 ...
and he kept pressing the stupid Snooze button ...
well, at least that way I could stop by at Mia's birthday party ... ;-))

At Sanct ... Drake with his cool tunes and smexy voice kept my mood from dropping deeper ...
I had a few talks that distracted me a bit, even one of a rather strange kind ...
and later darn RL work kept my weekend from being a real and enjoyable weekend ...
good to have a friend to get me out of that mood a bit ...bad, that he got in that mood right now and I can't be a real help ;-(

I applied for the 5km-cookie-run in our town this Sunday ...
like I do every year ...
So I did a lil jogg today ... and ...
BUGGER ... it was soooo tough ...
maybe I should do the 1km kiddie-run with my son instead ...
guess I was too lazy in the past ...
I put on some weight over the last weeks ...
spent too many hours sitting in front of a stupid screen ...
mostly for RL work ... but of course for some gimp, movie and msn fun too ;-P
I wanted to do the run in about 30min ... now I can be happy to get over the finish line ... lol
Friday I'll have another and last training jogg ...
and on Sunday, right after my shift at Sanct and a tiny breakfast, I'll jump into my sneakers and ....
well, I'll tell you Sunday ... lol
Now I'm wondering what sound to put on my ipod to keep me running ...
if I choose Avenged Sevenfold, as I did 2 years ago and which was great then, it will prolly cause a heart attack this time ...
Type O Negative isn't exactly good for running,
Rose, Aldebert and the other french stuff I like is better for the after run relaxing ... lol
maybe some WASP, Slayer or Anthrax ;-) ... NIN or Bowie?
Any suggestions?

... I did ... today ... 3 hours ... *grins* ... the uncut version ...
and I loved it ... it made it on my fav list ...
joining 'The 5th Element' and 'Two Hands' ... ;-)

oh ... and I did my first mini machinima ... lol
ok ... it's a terrible quality ... I still got to find a better recording soft ...
and I need to find out about clipping and cropping ...
but I'm working on it ...

you cannot leave her alone in a room with either a cam or a mic ... lol

tho I'm a really bad RL-dancer ...
anyway ... that's one of the good things in SL ...
dancing is soooo easy ... *grins* ...
too bad that I decided not to get into trouble anymore ...
so I only couple dance with Max the few times he is online ...
ok ... and with Merf at really rare times ...
well, while hosting you're supposed not to coupledance anyway ...
and I don't get asked for a dance anymore ... actually ... lol

So, sorry folks ... you gotta get another beautiful Rose song today ...
and have me dreaming of the nice times of slow dancing ...
